Axell a leading player in Graphics and Sound LSIs announced to unite their
resources on heading to provide extended value to the embedded market sphere.
HCL Technologies that has developed Smart GUI Tool Kit - EmPresent, announced its partnership with Axell Corporation and support for
Graphics LSI [Ag902] for Axell Corporation embedded device of EmPresent, with
an objective of assisting the client(s) by providing a timely and
cost-effective embedded technology-based product development coupled with
extensive know-how. This partnership is a part of HCLs plans that it is
currently promoting in order to materialize closer technical ties with Axell,
enabling Axell to provide user friendly solutions in the embedded market.
Through this partnership the range and depth of both the parties developer tool
kits will be integrated which will lead to a trouble free, dynamic and
intelligent software development.
-EmPresent is a smart Graphical User Interface (GUI) toolkit
with powerful Visual Editor specifically designed and optimized for faster and
parallel development of GUI, offering rich set of widgets that can be extended
any time facilitating internationalization of the applications to build a
powerful embedded multilingual GUI that is platform independent.
Axell one of Japan’s leading players in Graphics and Sound LSIs
, which include amusement systems such as pachinko and pachinko slot machines,
in-vehicle devices, POP (advertisement) terminals, kiosk terminals (featuring
touch panels), monitoring and security systems, measurement instruments,
medical equipment. Considering the increasing demand for the relay of
information via graphics (image) and sounds (voice), Axell does research and
development on LSIs and image and sound source compression and decompression
technologies related to graphics and sound technologies
With HCL EmPresent Visual Editor and Axell AG902, software
developers will have environment suitable for making development, and increased
performance of drawing with a minimum load on the CPU. For example animation
regeneration and transmission process can be easily achieved by GUI compilation
on EmPresent over target.
The overall embedded market is undergoing a major transformation
